About the role

As a Vita Mojo Solutions Engineer you will become the primary product expert within the Commercial team! As we continue to scale into 2025, you will be paramount to helping us grow and deliver a world class experience for all of our clients. As the needs and requirements of the hospitality industry become more and more complex, we need you to help us on the journey to deliver on those needs.

You will be responsible for defining the scope of each project, alongside our Business Development Managers to help the dynamic needs of clients. You will need to deliver a solution to get the most value out of our products, and maximise growth opportunities. Using your fantastic communication skills you will engage cross collaboratively with the Implementation, and Product & Engineering teams, to achieve the best results for our clients. 

The day-to-day

Working in a startup means that things often change and we adapt to the growing and changing needs of the business. We expect the below to be the bulk of the role, but this may change over time depending on your own development needs, aspirations and the makeup of the team. 

• Producing Statements of Works, you will be responsible for correctly documenting the scope of each project
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the Vita Mojo Operating System (VMOS) software used by our clients, becoming an expert user & conducting client demonstrations
• Consulting and guiding our customers, including on what works well for other users across the industry. Proactively working with prospects to maximise potential ROI on their Vita Mojo solutions.
• A collaborative team player, you’re adaptable and have a real can-do attitude as part of a motivated, high-performance Commercial Team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of the hospitality industry and best practices for operational processes incorporating Vita Mojo’s solutions.
• Sharing knowledge and expertise within the Commercial team running internal solutions training.
• Collaborate cross functionally with the Implementation team, Customer Success team and technical specialists at each phase of the client journey to provide product-level expertise, ensuring that any potential challenges are addressed.
• Successfully communicate customer requirements to product management teams.
• Participate in reviews of the project solution architecture by identifying opportunities and recommendations to optimise product delivery.

About you

• Successful record of quickly understanding client requirements and designing suitable processes, bringing in relevant experience, best practice and in-depth product knowledge.
• Highly developed facilitation skills, with experience leading presentations, solution demonstrations, training and client meetings.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to timelines.
• Focused, with a high attention to detail.
• Driven to deliver to standards of excellence.
• Comfortable working in a team environment yet confident enough to achieve your results in an independent manner.
• Solutions focused and the ability to think critically. You have the ability to step back and ask questions, focusing on the win-win-win and assessing how to plan ahead to optimise outcomes.

It’d be a bonus if you:

• Experience in the hospitality industry, it’s great when we can show empathy with clients .
• Prior implementation management experience and or pre sales experience.

💚 Carer’s Leave. We understand life happens and you may need to take some time to support your loved ones. Whether that be looking after your sick dog, friends or family members. We offer one week (5 days) paid leave to all Mojis.

🐣 Welcoming a child into your life. We have enhanced Parental leave policies! Parental leave is offered to all Mojis after 3 months at the company. Parental leave is the collective term and includes maternity, paternity, adoption leave and surrogacy. Our leave policy is meant to help you navigate through this time as successfully as possible.

We recognise both the primary caregiver (the person who spends most time with the child) and the secondary (typically this is the non-birthing parent). Primary caregivers receive full pay for the first 16 weeks and 50% pay up to week 32.

Secondary caregivers receive full pay for the first 4 weeks and an additional 2 weeks after 36 months of continuous service. It's up to you when you start your leave, we are here to support you through the whole process.

🤒 Your health. We offer 12 days of full pay health leave.

🥳 Your birthday. We love celebrating birthdays, whether through baked goods or gifts, and you also get the day off on (or around) your birthday every year.
