About the role
Vita Mojo transforms chaos into confidence for hospitality operators worldwide. We empower over 130 brands across five countries (including LEON, YO!, tossed and GAIL’s Bakery) to streamline order management, improve guest relationships, seamlessly expand across channels, and grow their business.
💥Your mission as a Business Development Representative is to be responsible for creating new opportunities, managing inbound sales enquiries, following up on marketing campaigns and collaborating with our sales team to build a pipeline with prospective customers in the UK Hospitality industry.
We’re looking for someone who is motivated and driven by exceeding targets, passionate about sales and an analytical thinker. Develop close working relationships with Business Development, Sales Operations, and the Marketing teams to create an exceptional multichannel prospect experience.
The day-to-day
As Business Development Representative you will have responsibility for helping your prospects re-imagine their hospitality operations using Vita Mojo and craft new sales opportunities for your Business Development Manager.
- You will be the driving force for identifying and creating opportunities into the sales pipeline and the first line of relationship development with prospective accounts.
Deliver a “consultative” approach to selling; taking time to understand the prospect’s business, their goals, objectives, and challenges before recommending a solution.
Consistently achieve quality pipeline & other metrics such as Inbound lead follow-up & outbound account engagement metrics.
Researching target accounts, identifying decision-makers, generating interest, and developing accounts to stimulate need.
Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop Target Accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities.
Research and use sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using enablement technology to connect with new prospects.
Setup, attend & run first level qualification meetings with prospective customers prior to passing it on to relevant Business Development Manager & Solution Engineers.
Partner with Sales & Specialist teams to further qualify and generate pipeline.
Update Salesforce, Salesloft, and other tools to ensure logging of key history & ensuring a smooth hand-off to the Business Development Manager.
Work closely with the Marketing team to run and assist in performing demand generation campaigns and follow-up on leads.
Run high-performing outbound campaigns to ensure a balanced pipeline built across segments and verticals.
Providing closed-loop feedback to Commercial organisation to ensure continuous process optimisations.
About you
- Minimum 1 year previous experience in a Business/Sales Development role.
- Prior B2B SaaS Start-up sales experience a huge plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other engagement tools in SaaS sales, such as Salesforce and Salesloft.
- Excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Target/KPI driven: Excellent with picking up the phone and making sales calls to Director level clients.
- Ability to interact with various stakeholders and decipher complex structures.
- Prior experience with social selling tools and a creative, open-minded approach to exploring new communication channels.

🌴 Your holidays. We believe in finding your work life alignment and want you to take advantage of your 25 days of leave, plus public holidays. Your holiday allowance increases after each complete calendar year of service, up to 28 days.
💚 Carer’s Leave. We understand life happens and you may need to take some time to support your loved ones. Whether that be looking after your sick dog, friends or family members. We offer one week (5 days) paid leave to all Mojis.
🐣 Welcoming a child into your life. We have enhanced Parental leave policies! Parental leave is offered to all Mojis after 3 months at the company. Parental leave is the collective term and includes maternity, paternity, adoption leave and surrogacy. Our leave policy is meant to help you navigate through this time as successfully as possible.
We recognise both the primary caregiver (the person who spends most time with the child) and the secondary (typically this is the non-birthing parent). Primary caregivers receive full pay for the first 16 weeks and 50% pay up to week 32. But need more time off? No problem, you can take up to 52 weeks (statutory) with us!
Secondary caregivers receive full pay for the first 4 weeks and an additional 2 weeks after 36 months of continuous service. It's up to you when you start your leave, we are here to support you through the whole process.
🤒 Your health. We offer 10 days of full pay sick leave.
🥳 Your birthday. We love celebrating birthdays, whether through baked goods or gifts, and you also get the day off on (or around) your birthday every year.
